This module contains miscellaneous machinery for interacting with the portability and contention modes while support is being finished in the compiler. Functions in this module that have "magic" in their name are unsafe, and must be used very carefully. Other functions are safe interfaces implemented in terms of unsafe logic; feel free to use these without concern.

Sourcemodule Primitives : sig ... end

Sourcemodule Stdlib_iarray_labels : sig ... end

Operations on immutable arrays. This module mirrors the API of Array, but omits functions that assume mutability; in addition to obviously mutating functions, it omits copy along with the functions make, create_float, and make_matrix that produce all-constant arrays. The exception is the sorting functions, which are given a copying API to replace the in-place one.

Jane Street extensions add some new functions to the OCaml standard library. To remain compatible with upstream OCaml, we swap out their implementation when releasing the open-source version of our libraries.
