Module `Binary_emitter_helpers`

Hooks for connecting the x86 binary emitter to the emit process.

CR mshinwell: Implement binary sections saving for x86 to match ARM64. Currently this module provides stub implementations.

val should_use_binary_emitter : unit -> bool

Returns true if the binary emitter should be enabled for this compilation. Currently always returns false on x86.

val begin_emission : unit -> Asm_targets.Asm_directives.Directive.t -> unit

Initialize the binary emitter if needed. Returns a no-op callback on x86.

val end_emission : unit -> unit

Finalize the binary emitter if it was enabled. No-op on x86.
